A. How To Access It?   www.googleearth.com, download software for free if not already on your desktop/laptop 

B. What is it?

A virtual globe that allows you to travel the world at your fingertips.; you can view the world through satellite imagery, 3D buildings, interactive picture views, and there is so much more.

C. What Functions Will I Cover?

  • Sightseeing Tour (Create recorded tours around the world and save them into your Google Earth Folders) 
  • Earth Gallery (Research various topics of other peoples research and saved information, as they do research all over the world)
  • Layers: 360 Cities, 3D (See buildings, cities, historical sites in 3D and take a 360 look into it with real life pics.)

 

* What is the added value in the classroom?  Students can apply what was learned in the classroom with a virtual visual aid.  You are able to bring the world into the classroom.
