Click Register at the top right corner of the screen. This will take you to the registration form.
Fill out the form. Type in the code. Agree to the terms of use. Click Sign Up.
Now you're signed up!
It will send you to the dashboard screen.
Click Create A New Glog.
This takes you to a blank Glog. You can delete the example elements that are up by clicking on it and then clicking the pink garbage can icon.
On the left you will see some options: Graphics, Text, Image, Video, Audio, Wall.
Graphics: Click on graphics and it will take you to the graphics menu. You can choose a graphic from the "Categories" list and then click "Use It" to make it appear on your Glog. To get out of the menu you can close the screen like any internet window. To move the graphic around on your Glog click it and hold the mouse button down as you drag it where you want it on the screen.
Text: It's a lot like the graphics. Click on "Gallery" under the "Basic Text" tab. You will have a menu of frames to choose from for your text. Choose one like you would a graphic. Once you do, click on it and then click Edit. Now you can write your text in the frame. When you're finished writing click OK. You can move your text the same way you would a graphic.
Images: You will be able to to upload an image file from your computer, put the url to an image from the internet in the link function, or you can grab an image from a webcam. You can also upload pictures from your Facebook, Flickr, Picasa profiles. Also, under the frames tab you can choose a frame for your image like you did for your text.
Video: When you click "Video" tab you can upload a video from the your files, by cliking the "Upload" button. You can also add a link by clicking the "Link" option and entering the Web address. There is also another option of making a Web Cam video from your laptop/computer by clicking the "Grab" option.
Audio: This is just like video, but for audio files.
Wall: This is where you can select a wall paper for your Glog. You can select an image from your computer, or from a variety of categories under the "Gallery" tab, or choose a solid color. Then simply click "Use it." There is also a "Page Wall," where you have the same options as the Glog wall.
Link: To add a link simply click on an image or text, click edit, then click on the link picture and add your url. The link will not be active until you save your project. You may also do this as a step when you initially pick the image from your browser. After picking an image, click on "link" and add a URL. This will activate when you click "OK".
You will notice that this site is very user friendly. The different functions are all pretty similar and easy to use.
